According to a statement from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, there are more than 500 quarantine residents in Nay Pyi Taw and Rangoon interrogation and accommodation camps.
344 people were detained at the Nay Pyi Taw Interrogation and Accommodation Center under Covid-19 disease control. On August 30, it was announced that there were 236 people in the interrogation and accommodation camps in Hlaing Township, Rangoon Region.
More than 500 people are being monitored in two detention centers and are still in good health, the statement said.
As of this morning, August 31, 787 confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been reported. 352 people recovered; 347 people were discharged from the hospital. A statement from the Ministry of Health and Sports said six people had been killed.
